Three school hall-of-famers are ahead of her (Olivia Carrillo 55 points; Dee Dee Bailey, 49; Beth Layton, 40) and she is now tied with Lori Talley, who had 38 in 1986. Her performance coupled with 14 points against Concordia earlier in the week earned Stabler the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week award.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dIt was a pleasure to watch her play tonight, one of the great all-time performances in SMU history,\u201d said coach Tim Healy. \u201cShe simply was unstoppable in the second half. I&#8217;m so happy for her and proud of her. She deserves every accolade she gets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stabler scored 24 points in the second half, including two free throws that sealed the win and were the final points of the game.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Her performance on Saturday night was simply spectacular,&#8221; said Healy. &#8220;She made all kinds of big shots to get us back into the game and then again to finish the task. Her teammates found her when she was open and she made sure she was in the right spot to score. It was truly a pleasure to be on the bench and watch this kind of performance.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The five-foot-6 Stabler is the Saints leading scorer through seven games at 18.6 points a game.
