Strege worked the boys 4A and 3A tournament at the Tacoma Dome and Evans was at the girl\u2019s 2A and 1A tournament at the SunDome in Yakima.<\/p>\n<p>Evans was selected to work the 2A girl\u2019s state championship game between Shorecrest and Lynden.\u00a0 Shorecrest won the title with a 49-43 victory.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s an experience I\u2019ll always cherish,\u201d says Evans, who is the recreational director for the Bremerton Parks and Recreation Department. \u201cIt makes me think of other local officials who have shared that experience \u2013 Joe Guerra, Cheryl Ondracek, TC Curry, Darrell Monroe, and Bruce Welling.
