Trump would destroy it and the freedoms we have in quick order because his history tells us (do the research) that there is no rule, no law, that he will not break, will not destroy.

This man has built his whole life on the con, on lies and fraud. He has bullied and intimidated and lied and defrauded many small guys on his way to building a Trump Brand that is interlocked with foreign governments and political leaders all over the world. He has went to bed with some of the worst people in the world, some of them sworn enemies of the United States, just so he can make a profit and become – in his words – the richest man around.

Donald Trump – his real last name is Drumpf, but was changed by his grandfather Friedrich Drumpf when he immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1885 – continues his lying assault on everything in his way as he campaigns across what is now the greatest country in the world but which will be reduced to a pittance of itself if this lying SOB becomes the president.

It would be amusing to me if it wasn’t so frightening that Trump courts the Christian far right white section of America, telling them he is with them when the man wouldn’t know, as I wrote earlier, a church from a hole in the ground and a Bible from Hitler’s book Mein Kampf, although he would likely agree with what is in the pages of Mein Kampf.

Why has this future dictator of America risen?

Trump is as dumb as a doorknob, but he does know psychology and he has figured out that this country’s silent majority, the white class that feels like it has been left behind and is being overtaken by minorities, is ready to be led to the so-called promise land, retaking what they feel is rightfully theirs – an entitlement, if you will – and falsely tell them he, and only he, can fix it all and Make America Great Again.

As false as his slogan is, it has resonated with this group, including the white supremacists that would like to be able to institute slavery once again and drive out all the illegals and the Muslims and build an all-white society that would rule with an iron fist and become in fact the second-coming of Mein Kampf.

Trump has refused to disassociate himself from the white supremacists – in fact Trump Jr. has spouted some of the group’s policies – which is par for the course for this hateful and soulless man. This bankrupt moral human being will go to any length to gain power and enrich himself further even if it means the demise of the America we know.

For Trump to succeed in this he needs not just the anger that boils just below the surface among many, he has to also have some luck. And he has gotten that luck with the nomination by the Democratic Party of Hillary Clinton as its presidential candidate.

I’m no friend of Clinton. I supported Barack Obama against her in 2008 simply because I did not want the Clinton’s back in the White House again because of what transpired there with Bill and what they did when they left by taking some taxpayer furniture that did not belong to them. That may seem like a small thing, but it irked me that they felt entitled to do that.

Hillary Clinton is also her worse enemy. She made a lot of missteps in her campaign against Obama for the Democratic Party nomination in 2008 and she continues to misstep against Trump. She should never have used the word “deplorable” even if she was somewhat right because Trump has incited some of the worse in us to rise up violently and take back their country and I would say that is deplorable, although once you do the research on Trump you will discover everything he does is extremely deplorable.

It is easy to dislike Clinton. She is a patsy for the alt-right and the Republican Party which distributes lies and distortions about her almost every day. And Trump has aligned himself with the fringe right, including among his campaign staff some of the worse people you could image as far as truthtellers.

Couple all that with the fact that she is a woman fighting an uphill battle in what has always been a man’s world when it comes to reaching the top of the political heap in America, the odds are stacked against her.

I don’t know if you took a glance at a recent copy of the National Enquirer, the mad rag that in the words of some mainstream media when they talk about the latest Trump lie, stretches the truth, but if you did you would have seen a photo shopped ugly shot of Clinton and a headline that blared all the supposed secret illnesses of hers that made it sound like she was already dead many times over.

The fact that Trump is a close friend of the Enquirer’s owner has everything to do with that fake photo, headline and story, and is just another way that Trump and his wicked staff are spreading ugliness about Clinton, most, if not all, that are lies.

Can Clinton win? I doubt it. I’m fearful when I say that. I will be horrified if Trump wins and most of America will soon discover the same thing if that happens.

My diagnosis of what is happening tells a lot about us humans. I’ll relate it in terms of being a sportswriter that covered the Seattle Mariners for nearly 30 years where I quickly discovered that writers for the most part are victims of their profession. They quickly toe the line when it comes to telling the entire truth on the team and the players that play the game for fear that if they do they will lose entry to that team and to those players, and thus lose credibility with their bosses and possibly lose their jobs.

So the mainstream media – and I’m talking specially about CNN and MSNBC, although this cable outlet tries to tell the truth just a tad with a couple of its hosts – treads lightly when it comes to Trump. They know he is lying. They know they are being used by him to spread his fraudulent gospel, but they are fearful of losing their jobs if they push back on his lies. So they don’t.

Trump understands all this better than anybody else. He knows he can lie – well, he always lies so he probably doesn’t spend a lot of time mulling this over – and get away with it.

But it takes two to dance. Trump is such a gifted speaker and can lie with ease because that is all he has done his entire life that the gullible, the viewer and the listener who do not do research on him, eat his words up. They believe everything he tells them. If he says punch the protester in the face, as he has done, they punch the protester in the face.

This speaks to another facet of being human. We – not all of us but some of us– are always looking for someone to lead us, someone to say something we are scared to say. I experienced that firsthand as a sports reporter when the obvious question would not be asked because, as I pointed out above, reporters were afraid to do or say something that would cost them entrance to that team or player.

So here comes a man like Trump. He is the bully on the playground, the kid that is feared and the kid that almost everybody wants to get behind so they are protected. The more outrageous things the Trump as the bully says the more he is liked because those who need leading know he will lead them to the promise land and make sure they arrive safely. Hitler had his Brown Shirts, Trump has his supporters who line up behind him because he is burning everything in front of him and knocking down perceived enemies with ease.

Halleluiah, the king has arrived, they believe, and now everything will be righted. We, they say, have overcome the enemy – right now it is the blacks, the minorities, the Muslins and women – and the country is ours once again.

Praise the Trump (and not the Lord).

Sadly, if just a dab of research is done, the truth of Trump could be bared. And I blame the mainstream media for most of this. They are making huge profits off of Trump – and Trump knows this – so they continue to air his lies, continue to support his fraud, his con, his bigotry, his racism, his hatred.

Why, for example, doesn’t the mainstream media focus on the charges of rape against Trump? Why don’t they dig out his tax returns? Surely with some difficult and long work they could be revealed.

Why don’t they dig out his connections to Putin and Russia?

And why don’t they stand up to him and force him to admit his lies?

I’m looking forward to the first Trump-Clinton debate on Monday (Sept. 26). This is Clinton’s change to knock the bully on his butt. Can she do it? I’m dubious about it because nothing seems to deter him from running over whoever is placed in front of him.

So we’ll see. It will likely be the most watched debate in history because I believe people are waiting to take sides. If Clinton can knock him on his butt, I’m convinced the mainstream media may finally get rid of their fear and go after him.

But if Trump knocks Clinton around, forget it. The battle will probably be lost and the biggest loser will be us, America.

I don’t know what else to say about this loser, this fraud, this con of a man. Until somebody peels him back to reveal the truth, I’m very frightened for us. There was a very sad joke posted on the Internet yesterday and it speaks the truth. A Canadian was talking and he said, “If Trump is elected, Canada will build a wall, and America will pay for it.”

So, yeah, get your passports ready.

I’m done for today. I’ve got to think about the Seahawks for a while. I have written sports for almost 50 years and I’m not a person who jumps on bandwagons, so when the early press seemed eager to crown this bunch of Seahawks Super Bowl ready, I took several steps back.

This is not the great team that you have been reading about. The Hawks have obvious offensive problems with its offensive line and when you evaluate teams you have to consider what other teams have and how do they match up. The Hawks have a couple fleet receivers, but other teams also have fleet defensive backs, which can often produce at the least a standoff in matchups.

So take a couple Aspirin and settle down. What I have seen already, there are a few teams who look like early contenders like Pittsburgh, New England, Carolina, Arizona, Minnesota, and then comes the next level, the Seahawks included. But things can change with a few injuries here and there and a few breakouts of young players. It’s also a long season, so take a deep breath and take it one week at a time.

Me, I’m out of deep breaths. So I’m hanging it up for today.

Be well pal.

Be careful out there.

Have a great day.

You are loved.

TERRY MOSHER The Rise of Donald Trump and the hatred and lies that he spews as regular as one…

[12,3

post-2452","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-column","category-mosher
["GET
