With less than a month until the January 5th Senate runoff election in Georgia,\u00a0Democratic candidates Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock are currently neck-and-neck with their Republican opponents.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

New polling shows both Jon and Rev. Warnock currently in the lead:<\/p>\n

Jon Ossoff (D): 50%
\nDavid Perdue (R): 48%<\/p>\n

Reverend Raphael Warnock (D): 52%
\nKelly Loeffler (R): 45%<\/p>\n

But remember, we can\u2019t rely on polling; we have to put in the work now to make it a reality come election day.<\/p>\n

The extent to which the Biden-Harris administration can make progress hinges on these two races: we need both Jon and Rev. Warnock to win in order to flip the Senate and take back the gavel from Mitch McConnell, who\u2019s turned the chamber into a \u201clegislative graveyard.\u201d<\/p>\n

With so much at stake, from pandemic relief, to universal health care, to bold action on climate change, to criminal justice reform, and so much more, flipping the Senate this January would be a total game-changer.<\/p>\n

Jon and Rev. Warnock can win, and their opponents know it. Senator David Perdue refused to even show up for last weekend\u2019s debate to make his case to the people he serves, and Senator Kelly Loeffler and her husband are spending millions of their own dollars to try and save her seat.<\/p>\n

Plus, McConnell\u2019s network of GOP megadonors have poured\u00a0more than $70 million<\/em>\u00a0into Georgia, and we saw Donald Trump hold a super-spreader rally there just days ago.<\/p>\n
