He’s 38 and showing his age and should retire (he’s thinking about it). He did score 40 points in game four against the Nuggets and showed for at least a half he can play like he was 20. He scored 31 in the first half of that game, hitting just about everything he threw up, including threes. But he couldn’t sustain it for a full game and there were times he was stripped of the ball, as if he was some rookie just breaking into the league. And his defense, never his best asset, was lacking. The consensus is he wants to hang on for two more years so he can play with his oldest son Bronny, who has committed to play for USC this next college season. I don’t think he can make it that far. LeBron is so good at so many things – public service announcements, commercials, acting (He’s a very good actor), charity giving (he’s a very giving person) and business. He’s worth over $1 billion and doesn’t really need basketball to ensure his legacy. If he retires, the Lakers will have to drastically retool the roster to stay relevant. … We live in Husky football land and as such we are aware coach Kalen DeBoer is on pace to have a super season. He is coming off an 11-2 record, including an Alamo Bowl victory over Texas, in his first season at Montlake and all indications are the 2023 Huskies are loaded. I caution Husky fans, though. The Pac-12, which will lose USC and UCLA to the Big Ten in the 2024 season, is also loaded for bear. Deon Sanders has lit a fire under the football team at Colorado, Utah is always strong, USC has loaded up, as has UCLA, Oregon and Oregon State are going to be strong and the Arizona schools are trending upwards. So it isn’t going to be easy for the Washington Huskies. Hey will be engaged in some tough battles, and if quarterback Michael Penix Jr. suffers an injury sidelining him the Huskies prospects take a sharp nose dive. … The Celtics will attempt to do something rare by coming back from a 3-0 deficit in their playoff series with Miami to advance to the NBA finals against the Nuggets. They already have won Game 4 and Game 5 is tonight in Boston. Can they do it? Anything is possible, but I don’t see it. The Celtics make too many mistakes and when their shooting falls off so do they. I see them losing Game 6 in Miami. That’s it for today. Stay safe.

Be well pal.

Be careful out there.

Have a great day.

You are loved.

TERRY MOSHER TOP OF THE TOWN ‑ LeBron James is about done.
