Both teams are undefeated (5-0) and it has attracted a national audience (ABC) plus Game Day. I have been waffling on what team I expect to win. Washington is ranked No. 7 and Oregon No. 8 by AP and a barn-burner is expected before a full house. I fear a leaky Washington pass defense might be the difference. Oregon quarterback Bo Nix is as exceptional as Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. Both are in the running for the Heisman Trophy. I’m doing to be diplomatic and say the game will end tied after 10 overtimes with both teams exhausted. The one thing I can say for sure this is the biggest game in college football history where both decorated quarterbacks have an “X” in their names. … Quarterbacks will be spotlighted on Sunday (October 15) when Seahawks and
Geno Smith visit Cincinnati and Joe Burrow. Burrow and the Bengals got off to a slow start but appear to be back on track so this will also be a battle royal game. If you are a football fan the weekend might take you a full case of beer to get through it. The hangover you might suffer will be worth it, I’m guessing, if Washington and Seahawks both win. I think the Seahawks are better than most experts believe. The 49ers are the clear favorite at this point to be Super Bowl champion, but Seahawks have good cornerbacks, Jamal Adams is back and the running game that coach Pete Carroll likes has emerged as a good one with a 1-2 punch of Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet. So we will see…. Russell Wilson continues to struggle in Denver and it appears to me that he is on downhill side of his prime. He doesn’t look like the one in Seattle where he pulled out games with last second heroics. I didn’t like the way he forced his way out of Seattle and his “Sister Teresa” post-game interviews. I had interactions with Alex Rodriguez and I quickly found him to be a phony. While Wilson has done good charity work (Children’s Hospital, mainly), he is bit of a phony. It has worked for both of them, however, as both are worth 100s of millions. That’s it for today. Stay safe.

Be well pal.

Be careful out there.

Have a great day.

You are loved.

TERRY MOSHER TOP OF THE TOWN –The biggest game for Washington in many years is on tap for Saturday (October…

[12,3

post-4418","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-column","category-mosher
["GET
