May 20 – Dick Bearbower, 83, was among a group of men – Bernie Burke, Ray Hall, Don Lay, Linc Perry, Jim Carlson, Ken Chase were some of the others ‑ who served the community well for decades through involvement in various organizations, including the Kitsap County Bremerton Athletic Roundtable (Bearbower was a past president). He was also a member of the Kitsap Golf & Country Club and the Elks.
