Orville “Tinnie” Johnson, 94, coached baseball and basketball at Bremerton High School and West Bremerton High School and was a vice principle and athletic director at the latter school. He coached the 1953 Bremerton baseball team to the mythical state championship. Johnson also was a Pacific Coast League basketball official and for many years was the assigning secretary for the Peninsula Referees Association. A 1932 graduate of Washington State University, Johnson reportedly left most of his estate to the school.
