The Silverdale Sluggers, a U-11 select baseball team coached by former professional player Eli Herdman, is still seeking donations for its trip to the Triple Crown Nationals in Las Vegas in early September.

The current plan is for the Sluggers to leave Sept. 9 for the national tournament that will be held Sept. 11-13 in Henderson and Las Vegas. The 11-man team is comprised of eight players from Silverdale, two from Auburn and one from Sequim. .
