Rocco Vega captures Columbus Day Racquetball Tournament Open Singles crown

The 19^th annual JABA/Dojo Technologies Columbus Day Racquetball Tournament played at the Kitsap Tennis & Athletic Center produced Rocco Vega as the Open Singles champion.

Vega won the round-robin event on total points over Nilo Delacruz who finished second with Ben Dennis taking third and Grace Hughes fourth.

Dr. Brian Miller won A Singles and Larry Mizar captured the title in C Singles. Charmaine Leicht won Women’s Singles and Larry Tuke took the 60-plus Singles crown.

In Open/A Doubles, the team of James Zeitler and Yas Yoneda was victorious and in B/C Doubles it was the team of Mike Fleury and John Lewis winning the title by defeating Miller and Steve Larson.

Tuke and Paul Stensen, former golf coaches at Central Kitsap High School, won the B/C Doubles Consolation title.
