Top qualifier Dane Terpone rolled a must strike in the last frame to win his 10th Kitsap Scratch Bowlers Association title by beating Jamie Watson 230-224 in the TV finale of the Certified Hearing Open held at Laurel Lanes in Port Angeles.

Terpone took the lead in the semifinals over Watson by rolling and winning games of 220, 259 and 246. Watson finished second, Louie Lazzarini took third, fourth place went to Mike VanWinkle and fifth to Bud Clark.

In the Peninsula Bottling 205 and-under Division, top qualifier Eric Pritchard won his second title of the season by defeating Carl Anderson 180-157 in the final match.

Next up for KSBO is the A&C Sports Bar Open at All Star Lanes in Silverdale on Oct. 21. The 205 and-under Division will be the George Shafer Memorial sponsored by All Star Lanes Casino.

This tournament is open to all bowlers as long as you are a USBC member in good standing. The cost for open guests is $95 and $80 for the Under Division.
