TERRY MOSHER

TOP OF THE TOWN ‑ I probably would have done better if I had flipped a coin last week to select winning football games because I finished 12-15 (5-9 in the pros). If I was a Las Vegas book I would be broke today (as it is I’m close to that anyway). I promise to be much better this week. Clemson at Notre Dame is the key matchup.  Clemson is without their top quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, because of COVID-19 for the second week. Di Uiagalelei, a gifted freshman, will be at the helm for the Tigers for the second straight week. I think the Fighting Irish will get the Tigers. Another interesting game is Liberty at Virginia Tech. Liberty is undefeated. And I give the Washington State Cougars the chance to start out on a winning note with new coach Nick Rolovich as they visit at Oregon State to start their shortened Pac-12 season. Arizona State at USC is supposedly a clash of titans in another Pac-12 matchup. I like USC. In the pros, it’s Seattle going to Buffalo in a game of division leaders and New Orleans at Tampa Bay pits two future HHall of Famers – Drew Brees and Tom Brady – against each other for the second time this season. Brees won the first game in New Orleans. That’s it.

Be well pal.

Be careful out there.

Have a great day.

You are loved.
