People who insist on being free to purchase guns without some form of background check, people who insist on being able to not only get guns but semi-automatics like an AK-47, people who bow down to the powerful National Rifle Association (NRA), should be ashamed of themselves today.
There is a murderous rage going on not only in Iraq and Syria by ISIS and other terrorist’s organizations, but there is one going on right here in our country, in our neighborhoods. Bad people with guns that can fire hundreds of bullets within minutes are seeking out your neighbor, your son, your daughter, your mother, your dad and worse of all, you.
They are not taking names. They don’t care who you are, who you represent, what a valuable asset you might be to those around you. All they know is you are going to be slaughtered by the guns that can be purchased by them just as freely as a pack of gum.
Dr. Ben Carson, who said that the Holocaust would not have happened if the Jews had guns, should be ashamed of himself. They had guns in Poland during the war and look what happen. If they all would have had guns in San Bernardino does he think there would have been fewer killings? Does the good doctor believe that loading up on guns right now will prevent the next mass shootings?
C’mon, guns kill. That’s why they were made. And people with evil intent are not going to be deterred if you reach for your weapon. They come to kill and in the case of people who believe they will go to paradise if they are killed, they want to die, but not before exploding a vest intended to take as many people with them or firing a weapon as fast as allowed to kill as many as possible before being killed themselves.
This is war. And unfortunately it has come to our neighborhoods. We can no longer wait for the grim reaper with his AK-47 to knock on our doors and fire away, we have to fight back where evil is being brewed and take the fight to the evil-doers not with 200 special operations soldiers on the ground and fighter jets, bombers and drones in the air, but with real heroic men and women who insist that freedom is not something that can be taken away from us by bad people.
We must visit the evil, knock on their doors and blast away. It will take sacrifice and it will take thousands of troops sent to the homes of the evil to do it. But we can’t wait for our President any longer in his soft approach to these threats. Congress must act and we must attack or I’m afraid there will be more and more San Bernardinos.
So what are we waiting for?
In these perilous times, we need to lift each other up and send as much love as possible to those around us as we approach the birth of the man who died for our sins. My daughter is a very religious person and she senses Jesus is close to coming back as promised in the Bible, and all I can add to that is he better hurry because evil is knocking on our doors.
