The Kitsap Scratch Bowlers Organization put the wraps on another bowling season – its 43rd – and the winners were Mike VanWinkle and Cody Moen.

VanWinkle won the Grey Chevrolet Open that was held at All Star Lanes in Silverdale and Moen won the 19th Hole Bar and Grill’s 205 and Under Division, also at All Star Lanes.

Lonnie Sharkey, the best bowler in Kitsap County, led the Grey Chevrolet Open after the semifinals with VanWinkle qualifying in fourth place. But VanWinkle roared to the finish by beating Tom Thomas 257-183, Jamie Watson 221-175, and Tom Jamrog 283-181 to meet Sharkey in the finale. VanWinkle then won his 15th KSBO Title by defeating Sharkey 269-190.

Moen qualified second to Jessica Sutton in the 19th Hole Bar and Grill’s 2015 and Under Division. He then beat Mike Green 226-163 and Sutton 190-174 to win his first KSBO title.
