Britain’s decision Friday to leave the European Union is a stark reminder what we face and what will likely happen with the Trump The Terrible and his isolationist views – ban Muslins, build a border wall, kick out illegals and their families, bomb the stuffing out of terrorists and their families, erect trade barriers, rip up our treaties – if he is elected president.
The modern world is too small and getting smaller all the time and for a great country like the United States to pull in its horns, zip up its borders and put its head in the sand will cause great suffering, and not just here in America but around the world.
Trump The Terrible is a dangerous demagogue whose main aim in life is to make money, money and more money. He gloated today that it’s good that the British Pound had lost value with Friday’s decision to leave the EU because he can make money off that.
Wow!!!
I can go on and on, and I probably will during this presidential campaign to warn about him, but my stomach can only take so much at a time and I have a sports column to write this morning, so I will stop for today. But I will be back.
A positive reminder: Love is the foundation of everything, and we are all in this world together so let’s keep us all together and not let anybody divide us.
