North Kitsap, which has qualified for the regional baseball tournament, is ranked No 3 in the final Washington Baseball Poll for class 2A teams. Selah is first and WF West (Chehalis) is third.

Puyallup is first in 4A, Mercer Island first in 3A and Freeman first in 1A.

The NK Vikings face Black Hills in the the regionals Saturday (May 20) at Auburn High School at 1 p.m. If the Vikings win, they face the Tumwater-Lynden winner 45 minutes later with the winner advancing to the semifinals of state on May 26 at Yakima County Stadium in a 4 p.m. game against whoever comes out of the Ephrata Regional on May 20 that pits Olympic against Cheney at 1 p.m. Saturday (May 20) and Ellensburg versus Selah. Those winners meet 45 minutes later on Saturday and that winner moves on to Yakima for the semifinal showdown on May 26.

Port Angeles meets Liberty (Issaquah) at 1 p.m. at the Bellingham 2A regional Saturday (May 20) with the winner advancing in against the winner of Fife-Anacortes 45 minutes later.
