Curtis Messer Sr. won his sixth Kitsap Scratch Bowlers Organization title when he stopped Warren Cox in the TV final of the Longhouse Market & Deli Open at Laurel Lanes in Port Angeles.
Messer took the lead in the semifinals with games of 231, 224, 257, winning all three of them. Then in the final he out bowled Cox 221-193.
Craig Wilkey led start to finish to win the Lakeside Industries 205-and-under division. Wilkey led early qualifying and continued to lead after the semifinals and then beat Preston Craig 201-156 in the final game to earn his third KSBO title.
Next up for KSBO bowlers is the Hi-Joy Bowl/Artisan Title & Mosaic Quad Swiss tournament that will be held Nov. 17 at Hi-Joy Bowl in Port Orchard.
