Cameron Kerlee moved into the lead of the Jeff Helmonds/Coldwell Banker Open in the semifinals at All Star Lanes and then held off Tom Jamrog 214-200 to win his second Kitsap Scratch Bowlers Organization title.

Kerleeā€™s victory came in the first KSBO tournament of the new bowling season and stopped the late rally of Jamrog, who had qualified in third place and then beat Lonnie Sharkey (242-165) and Jamie Watson (208-195) to reach the TV final against Kerlee.

In the 19th Hole Bar & Grill 205 and Under Tournament, Dane Terpone rolled into the lead in the semifinals and won the tournament by defeating Duncan Whitaker 255-203 in the final match.

Awards from last bowling season were handed out before the tournament began. Making the 2018-2019 All Star team were Tim Clemens, Mike VanWinkle, Sharkey, Nick Bachteler and Curtis Messer Sr. The bowler of the year in the Open Division was Clemens and the bowler of the year in the 205 and Under Division was Preston Craig.

Next up for KSBO bowlers is an October 12th trip to Port Angeles and the Certified Hearing Open and the Peninsula Bottling 201 and Under Tournament at Laurel Lanes.
