TERRY MOSHER

TOP OF THE TOWN – The Seattle Seahawks had a bye week in which they had player healed up and made some roster moves to bolster a leaking defense and now we’ll see if they can hold up at Arizona on Sunday night against the Cardinals. I say no. The Hawks’ perfect record ends here. The Cardinals play good defense and their little man quarterback Kyler Murray will scramble the Hawk’s defense with his arm and legs. Seattle’s Jamal Adams may or may not be back for this game, which doesn’t sound optimistic. But the Hawks did promote cornerback D.J. Reed and tight end Colby Parkinson from the non-football injury list. Reed could play corner, nickel or free safety, and maybe all three in the game. Parkinson adds to a deep tight end group. The Hawks have had a tough time winning in Arizona in the past and that pattern will hold. Arizona by 10 … I didn’t have a good record (16-11) last week so I got to be much better this week to save face. There are some tough challenges. Will Florida State continue to surprise at Louisville and can Pittsburgh slow down Notre Dame at home? Iowa State at Oklahoma State may be close and I’ve got two top 15 teams with Michigan at Minnesota as the Big Ten starts play after being shut down because of COVID-19. I like Minnesota to pull off the upset.  Besides the Seattle-Arizona game, there is tension brewing with San Francisco at New England and Chicago at the Rams. I like Chicago and the 49ers. Also, will Aaron Rodgers, ticked off the static he’s been taking for his poor performance in his match-up with Tom Brady last weekend, rebound with a vengeance and make Houston pay? That could be very interesting. I do expect Baker Mayfield, who also is taking some slack for his terrible game last weekend in a lost to Pittsburgh, should get good numbers against Cincinnati this weekend. That’s it for today.

Be well pal.

Be careful out there.

Have a great day

You are loved.
