TERRY MOSHER

TOP OF THE TOWN –Ok, it’s time for the Seattle Seahawks to prove they are contenders instead of pretenders. There is a debate. They started out 5-0 and have lost four of the last seven, including to the Giants. Their offense has stalled at the same time their defense has come alive. They have not made the proper adjustments to what teams are doing to them (taking away the long bombs). I’m not a believer in them. They got to show up on Sunday. They can’t just win 17-10 or 21-20 they have to blow out the Jets. If they don’t, oh boy, the critics will come crawling out of the woodwork. On the college front, I like the matchups of Georgia at Missouri and Wisconsin at Iowa. For Georgia to win, it will have to do so in a shootout. The Wisconsin-Iowa game should be a defensive struggle. In the NFL, Kansas City at Miami headlines about five real donnybrooks. New Orleans at Philadelphia has real meaning to Doug Pederson. He may be out of options if his Eagles lose. Other close games should occur with Washington at San Francisco, Pittsburgh at Buffalo and Baltimore at Cleveland Monday night. Washington is being led by Bremerton born Alex Smith, who should win hands down he comeback player of the year award. That’s it. I’m outta here.

Be well pal.

Be careful out there.

Have a great day.

You are loved.
