TOP OF THE TOWN – The Husky dawgs get muzzled Friday night. Oregon may be the best team in America. They are quick, fast, strong and have the future Heisman winner in Bo Nix, an unbelievable passer, and an explosive running game. Did I mention the Ducks are first-class on defense, too? It is terrible luck for the Huskies that Oregon is their next opponent. In fact, the final year of the Pac-12 has three teams that could qualify for the playoffs. I am including Arizona, which has come on strong over the last half of the season. You might remember the Huskies barely beat Arizona (31-24) and that was just the beginning of the Wildcats getting their act together. They won all six of their games after losing to the Huskies. The way I see it is Washington loses to Oregon 35-17 and falls to 6th or 7th in the final AP poll. This final week is going to be a mess if Alabama beats Georgia in the SEC title game and Florida State whips Louisville in the ACC title contest, I can see the committee having a tough time naming the top four teams. I am assuming Michigan beats Iowa for the Big Ten title. That would in my mind make Michigan No. 1, Oregon No. 2, Alabama No. 3 and Georgia or Florida State No. 4. You can replace Oregon with Washington if the Huskies win. That’s it for today. Stay safe.

Be well pal.

Be careful out there.

Have a great day.

You are loved.
