Sara Tingley leads Out of Retirement to victory in the KSBO Quad Swiss Tournament

 

The Out of Retirement bowling team of Sara Tingley, Kim Hansen, Danny Combs and Mike Hansen won the 19-team Kitsap Scratch Bowlers Organization’s Hi-Joy Bowl/Artisan Title & Mosaic Quad Swiss Tournament held at Hi-Joy Bowl in Port Orchard with 6657 total pins.

Tingle led the way with 1798 total pins in eight games. Combs was next with 1725 followed by Mike Hansen with 1595 and Kim Hansen at 1539. The victory gave Mike Hansen his 18^th KSBO title, which is third all-time behind Lonnie Sharkey and Steve Force.

Combs has now won six KSBO titles.

Second place went to Dirt Pickle with 6635 pins. Spencer Ludwig led the team with 1808 pins.

Curtis Messer had the high eight-game series for the men at 1909. Tingle’s 1798 topped scoring for the women.

Kendra Willis had the high game of the tournament with a 298.
