It was an interesting time for the Kitsap Scratch Bowlers Organization during its annual Swiss Trios as two bowlers were taken into the KSBO Hall of Fame, three 300 games were bowled and a raffle produced bowling balls for two lucky winners.

Most important is that Mind N Gutter team of Alexander Smith, Roger Smith and Andrew Smith won the 32nd All Star Lanes/Tony Italian Restaurant Swiss Trios held at Silverdale’s All Star Lanes for the 22nd time.

This was a family victory with Roger Smith being the dad to Alexander and Andrew. Andrew got the highest average on the family team at 219.7, followed by Roger at 210.8 and Alexander at 196.7.

Roger was earning his second KSBO title and his two sons were claiming their first.

Prior to the start of the tournament Tim Clemens and Mike VanWinkle were introduced as the newest members of the KSBO Hall of Fame.

Two Storm Bowling Balls were won in raffles. One was won by Roger Smith and another by Don Allen.

Lonnie Sharkey bowled two 300 games. He bowled an 813 series with the help of his second 300. Casey Jamrog also bowled a 300 game, and Charles Cunningham rolled to an 804 series.

The next KSBO tournament – Campbell Roofing Eliminator (George Peabody Memorial) – will be held at Port Angeles’ Laurel Lanes on March 23. The 205-and-under, sponsored by Seven Cedars Casino, will also be held.
