TERRY MOSHER

If you watched the Golden State Warriors lose to the Toronto Raptors Wednesday, you know now how it feels to play on a sports team where you are surrounded by guys who can barely walk and chew gum at the same time and no matter what you do, it’s not going to succeed.

I felt sorry for Steph Curry as he played nearly all 48 minutes trying to pull his injured-riddled team to victory. Curry tried and tried and put up a heroic effort, shoveling in a career playoff 47 points. Alas, the Raptors just laughed in his face while taking a 2-1 lead in the best of seven series for the NBA championship.

The Warriors were missing half of their Splash Brothers when Klay Thompson was sidelined with a strained hamstring. Thompson not only provides offensive firepower second only to Curry, but is one of the league’s better defenders. Without Klay on the floor, the Raptors singed the nets with 17 threes and romped to an easy victory.

Thompson is supposed to play Friday in Game 4, and the long-awaited return of Kevin Durant may also be appearing on the court.  The Warriors might be able to win with just a healthy Thompson, but if Durant plays and is able to shake off the rust and his calf injury, the Warriors can even this series.

It’s about time the cowardly Republicans stand up for the people of America rather than cower to traitor Trump. Republicans are fighting back over the traitor’s intent to levy a Tariff on Mexico unless it makes an attempt to stop refugees from storming our southern border.

The Republicans also are fighting back to the traitor’s attempt to slash the conservation job training program and lay off more than 1,000 federal works. If you are closely watching, this shutting down of the conservation job training program is just one of many that are being tossed in the garbage by the traitor.

His administration is also stopping services to immigrant kids in federal custody. The traitor is not content with putting thousands of kids in cages run by for-profit firms that are big donors to his campaign, but now wants to stop them from receiving English lessons, legal help and to take even soccer from them.

This is not only very cruel to have them in cages, but now this administration wants to deny them any help. What the hell is wrong with our country that we allow this?

Traitor Trump should be put in a cage and then deny him McDonald’s burger and fries.

I’m a horse racing fan, but I can’t defend what is happening at Santa Anita where 27 horses have now died since late December. What the heck is going on there? One theory is that more rain than normal has turned the track into a death trap. They should just shut the track down until a clear diagnosis is found. I like horse racing, so I hope whatever is causing these deaths will be found and a solution to them will be found.

In the meantime, I will watch the third race of the Triple Crown on Saturday when the Belmont Stakes is run. It was the 2009 Belmont stakes where I was telepathy told the winner while sitting through the pre-race formalities as the talking heads on TV began predicting who would win.

None of them had Summer Bird. I did. Somebody on the “Other Side” told me. It ruined the race for me knowing who was going to win. I usually pick out a horse and silently root for it as the race unfolds. But this time, I already knew Summer Bird would win.

And, yes, I have had other what I call spiritual incidents happen to me. So I wasn’t shocked that somebody on the spiritual side told me the winner. I am mystified, however, why somebody on the other side wants me to know a horse race winner. You would think – or I would have hoped – that the being would have told me the winning Power Ball numbers.

Oh well, I’m just appreciative that somebody is looking out for me. I need all the help I can get.

Be well pal.

Be careful out there.

Have a great day.

You are loved.
